Taiji is a chinese martial art. It has been used in China for centuries for self-defense, for it’s health benefits and self-cultivation. Taiji is one of the internal martial arts of China. Kung fu is another well known chinese martial art and is considered an external martial art. It is said that taiji relies on soft relaxed internal force for it’s martial applications, while Kung Fu and other external arts rely on hard physical strength for their martial power.
